Transportation, Elevated
Transform Congested Cityscapes Into Urban Oasis, With Vuba.
Need a lift? We all do. Getting where we need to be quickly, confidently, and easily is an essential aspect of modern society. Yet, our public transportation options are outdated and inefficient.
That’s why we’re developing an Automated Transit Network (ATN) technology that re-imagines the way we move. Say hello to the next evolution of city planning. Say hello to Vuba.
Our PodCars zip through the city like hummingbirds through the forest.

Modern Transportation Is A Mess…
We owe so much to trains, planes, and automobiles - but the runway on last century’s technological innovation is running out.
- Cities and transport hubs are chaotic, noisy, and difficult to navigate. Urban congestion continues to cause increasing traffic related injuries and deaths that plague the population. Unsustainable consumption practices and environmental pollution are slowly but surely killing our planet.

Thankfully, The Next Evolution Of Urban Life Is Blossoming Before Our Eyes.
Smart Cities, centered on “human-scaled” transportation infrastructure, will help us get where we need to go next without crowding the way there.
- Democratizes mobility, providing access to a convenient transportation option for all.
- Complements existing transportation channels, clearing unnecessary city blockages.
- Opens up ecologically oriented urban planning opportunities by removing weight from our ground traffic load.
Introducing
Vuba
An Automated Transit Network Technology that implements a mesh system architecture to more effectively connect major nodes of an urban population. Driverless vehicles called PodCars move travelers along Aerial Guideways from station to station directly, thus ensuring safe and speedy arrivals to a travelers destination.
5X More Reliable
Count on Vuba’s transportation network to operate flawlessly 24/7 in all weather conditions.
1/4 The Cost
Compared to conventional public transportation operating and infrastructure costs.
Twice As Fast
Quick, express travel from origin to destination at speeds up to 60mph.
Zero Accidents
ATN systems worldwide have had no injury accidents in over 200 million passenger miles.
What We Do
At Vuba, our journey begins with real-world projects that are already underway and investing in our expertise. These initiatives are more than just studies; they’re collaborations with communities that are eager to address urban mobility challenges. Some of these projects will be ready for implementation even before our groundbreaking technology is fully developed. In such cases, we’ll work closely with these communities to identify and adopt the most suitable proven technology for their specific needs. By doing so, we not only expand the market for advanced transportation systems but also ensure that communities can benefit from improved mobility sooner rather than later.
Simultaneously, we’re committed to developing cutting-edge technology that will redefine urban transportation. Our in-house technology is designed to be more reliable, affordable, and visually appealing than any other Automated Transit Network (ATN) system on the market. With an impressive top speed of 60mph and precise computer-controlled PodCar operations, our vehicles can operate in close proximity and adhere to tight schedules, ensuring a seamless urban transportation experience. Our PodCars are engineered for safety and can comfortably accommodate six passengers, facilitating efficient and eco-friendly urban commuting. Our Guideways are built to withstand all weather conditions, be it rain, snow, or sunshine. Furthermore, our cost-effective infrastructure, production methods, and operational practices set a new industry standard, making profitability attainable in an otherwise ineffective sector. Our commitment to enhancing cityscapes and harmonizing with urban architecture is at the heart of our design philosophy.
As we progress through these phases, the ultimate goal is to launch the future of urban mobility. With both our successful project development collaborations and our pioneering technology developments in place, we envision a world where cities thrive, commuters move effortlessly, and the environment benefits. Our integrated approach ensures that once our technology is ready for deployment, communities everywhere can experience the benefits of our innovative and efficient transportation solutions. By transforming transportation, we’re not only enhancing the way people move; we’re building a future where mobility is synonymous with progress, and we all reap the rewards of a better-connected world.

Meet The Founders
Peter Muller
Project Development Director
A registered civil engineer, Peter has completed more than 200 federally funded transportation projects. He has specialized in automated transit for over two decades and is a recognized global expert in the field. Peter is president of the international Advanced Transit Association (ATRA) and owner of PRT Consulting, based in Franktown, Colorado.
Paul Klahn
Technology Design Director
Paul is an aerospace engineer, pilot, former US Air Force officer, and entrepreneur. Paul has been on the leadership teams of several startups in varied fields, ranging from aircraft design and manufacturing, ocean wave green energy generation, near space lighter-than-air vehicles used for border security, aerial surveillance, and communication. Before starting Vuba, Paul was COO for two U.S.-based companies developing automated transit systems.

How Did We Get Here?
In the story of human progress, the way we move has defined our evolution. From horses and boats to trains, automobiles, and even space travel, our relentless pursuit of better transportation reflects our unending quest for a brighter future. Yet, as our cities became congested and our streets saturated, the need for innovation in urban mobility is beyond evident. Vuba’s journey began with co-founder Peter Muller, an airport transportation consultant who envisioned subterranean pipelines and elevated transit systems to tackle this challenge. Despite initial skepticism, Peter persisted in refining his ideas.
Connecting with Peter’s vision, co-founder Paul Klahn, a visionary in diverse cutting-edge technologies, recognized the urgency of redefining personal transportation for a sustainable future. Joining together, their shared mission to transform urban mobility ignited the birth of Vuba. They stand as pioneers in the quest to reimagine the way we move—building a better future, one step upward at a time.
Where Are We Going?
An evolution in the urban cityscape is overdue. We all want a world where man and machine can move in harmony with nature. An integrated urban lifestyle includes effortless transportation, uncongested cities, and peaceful surroundings.
Automated Transit Network technology will take humanity to new heights, helping us all move, breathe, and live better. Vuba exists to get people there quickly – making public transportation a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
FAQ
Most systems should be funded through federal, state, and other grants, however, private financing is available for special situations that don’t fall under the traditional scope
This depends on local laws and preferences, but the community should always own a significant portion.
Typically, the project team will operate the system. If desired, operations can be transferred to the community after a suitable training period.
In the small town of Greeley, Colorado we are finding a $97 M ATN project should uplift service area property values by approximately $768 M for a benefit/cost ratio of 7.9 on this factor alone.
The primary worldwide mode of transportation is a small vehicle called the car or automobile. Cars carry billions of people every day. Using a small vehicle for public transportation is impractical when it requires a driver. Driverless small vehicles are the most practical and economical form of public transportation provided they are separated from other traffic and pedestrians. The paradigm changes when you remove the driver.
Smaller vehicles require smaller infrastructure that costs less. Small vehicles are more easily kept mostly full and can be pulled out of service more readily. Combined with reduced stopping and starting, this keeps O&M costs low.

This is not like elevated train structures creating darkness underneath. ATN guideways are narrow and elegant and fit within existing road rights of way. We believe in adding architectural value to the streetscape.
ATN operates on dedicated guideways separated from other traffic and pedestrians. Busy urban settings have no impact on it, provided it can handle the passenger demand. All modern ATN systems achieve over 99.5% reliability – five times more reliable than transit level of service.
